In December 2019, COBIAX lightweight\nconcrete slabs were introduced in the greek market. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project country: <\/strong>Greece<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>Project location:<\/strong> Varko District in the Municipality of Aktio \u2013 Vonitsa, in the Regional Unit of Aitoloakarnania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Builder:<\/strong> Napa Tourism Enterprises I.K.E.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Architect<\/strong>:&nbsp; Fotini Ksirafi <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Structural engineer: <\/strong>\u0391ntonios Kanellopoulos \u2013 Cubus Engineering<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Executing company:<\/strong> Napa Tourism Enterprises I.K.E.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>COBIAX slabs were placed in a complex of three statically independent buildings under construction in Varko District in the Municipality of Aktio \u2013 Vonitsa, in the Regional Unit of Aitoloakarnania. The buildings will be used as seaside villas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When designing the building complex, one of the main goals of\nthe engineering team was the maximum possible reduction of the slab weight and\nthe slab height and the maximum possible increase of the span lengths. So using\nCOBIAX slab was the best solution both compared to the relevant solid slabs and\nto slabs with girders (zoellner and sandwich type) which are widely used in\nGreece. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three different types of the COBIAX SL were used in order to\nachieve three different slab thicknesses.
